  • Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sara pursued her passion for hands-on treatment and rehabilitation by completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. Her background in exercise science provides her with a strong understanding of human movement, biomechanics and physical performance, which she incorporates into her approach to remedial massage and recovery. Sara has a particular interest in injury rehabilitation and functional recovery, working with individuals experiencing musculoskeletal pain, postural overload, muscular tension and movement-related concerns. She takes an individualised approach to treatment, considering each person’s lifestyle, activity levels and recovery goals to help improve mobility, reduce discomfort and support overall physical function. Throughout her experience, Sara has worked closely within multidisciplinary healthcare teams alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and podiatrists. This collaborative environment has strengthened her understanding of how remedial massage and soft tissue therapy can complement broader rehabilitation and injury-management programs. Sara also has experience supporting athletes, including providing post-event soft tissue treatment and recovery care to endurance athletes at the Ironman Challenge. This has further developed her interest in sports massage, muscular recovery and helping active individuals manage the physical demands of training and competition. Her treatment approach incorporates a range of techniques, including deep tissue and sports massage, soft tissue therapy, myofascial release and lymphatic drainage. Her key areas of interest include injury rehabilitation and functional recovery, managing postural overload and everyday musculoskeletal strain, deep tissue and sports massage, soft tissue therapy and muscular recovery, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, geriatric care to support mobility and independence, and pregnancy care.
